Sky Dream Inter School Aviation Competition offers a chance for Future Aviators. Our aviation competition is designed to inspire and train the next generation of aviators from Hong Kong.

Introduction

Join us in soaring to new heights! Our Sky Dream Inter School Aviation Competition is designed to inspire both primary and secondary school students from Hong Kong. Participants will gain hands-on experience, develop essential flying skills, and compete in a series of thrilling challenges. 

Our Airline Pilot will give students a guide from the time you join the competition until students complete all the challenges in this inter school competition.

Online Registration

Details: 

  • Participating teams will receive a confirmation email including the competition information from the Sky Dream after registration.
  • Free Face to Face Briefing and Workshop will be given to schools which finish registration before 31 December 2024

Registration Confirmation

After the registration: 

    • Our Staff will confirm the school's registration  and understand the school's situation and make arrangements for competition preparation (if necessary) within one week
    • Our staff will confirm school attendance at the Competition Briefing & Workshop one month before the event.
    • Competition Syllabus & Preparation Pack will be sent to school after confirmation

    • Following the workshop, Sky Dream will invoice the school $899 per team for the registration fee.

    Competition Briefing Details:

    • 45 Minutes competition briefing for teachers (Parents are welcome to join)
    • Simulator Tour for teachers (Parents are welcome to join)

    • 45 Minutes Sky Dream C172 Simulator (Competition Simulator Model) Training
    • 45 Minutes Flying Theory Training

    • All-level aviation STEAM DAY at school (Selection Day)
    • 4.5 hours Competitor Preparation Course
    • In addition to the preparation course, airline pilots can also organize tailor-made courses for schools and arrange simulator training for students at the same time.

      For the time being, each school can participate in a maximum of two teams, and the number of teams can be confirmed at the time of registration.
      If you want to have three or more teams to participate, you can select three or more on the application form, and Sky Dream will determine the number of participating teams according to the situation.

      暫時每間學校最多可以參與兩隊，並在報名時可以即時確定參與。
      如果想有三隊或以上參加，可以在報名表格上選三或以上，Sky Dream會按情況確定參賽隊伍數目。

      After confirming the participation in the competition, Sky Dream will provide the school with a preparation pack which will include all of the assessment areas of the competition.

      在確定參與比賽後，SKY DREAM會給予學校一份準備資料，裡面將包含比賽全部考核範圍。
      Schools can choose to enroll in our program to help students prepare for the competition:

    • Sky Dream Aviation Competition Preparation Program, which already includes
      • All-level aviation STEAM DAY at school (selection day)
      • 4.5 hours of competitor preparation program
    • In addition to the preparatory course, airline pilots can also organize customized courses for schools and arrange simulators to come to schools for training at the same time.
      School teachers can also help students prepare according to the scope of the examination.

      • 到校全級航空STEAM DAY (選拔日)
      • 4.5小時參賽選手準備課程
    • 預備課程以外，現職民航機師亦可為學校度身訂造課程，同時間安排模擬器到校給同學訓練
      學校老師亦都可以自行根據考試範圍為學生準備
      • Yes, it will be held in conjunction with 1.5 hour workshops for students on the following dates:
    • November 9, 2024 (Saturday)
    • December 7, 2024 (Saturday)
    • January 28, 2025 (Saturday)

      • Part 1: Aeronautical Theory Test will include questions in both English and Chinese.
      Part 2: Flight simulator competition will be conducted in English because, during real flights, pilots need to communicate with air traffic controllers in English.

      第一部分航空理論會有中英對照問題
      第二部分飛行模擬器，會用英語進行，主要的原因是因為真實飛行過程中, 飛機師都需要用英語和航空管制員溝通。
